Worked for Mercedes Benz do Brasil until 2006 as Director of Production of the Unit of Axles and Transmissions. Responsable for planning, logistics, maintenance and production. With staff group of that area, turned the production unit that would be closed or sold into a world benchmarking in the manufacturing of axles and transmissions. Such unit became a model to the other plants of the group. In 2004, the unit got a prize as the unit with the best manufacturing system of all units of the world division of commercial vehicles.
Adding to the improvements of the manufacturing system, new products were industrialized without the addition of another area, with optimized investments, such as transmissions, gears for exportation, a new family of axles for trucks and buses, axles for A Class automobiles, axles for Sprinter vehicle and the return of the internal industrialization of the heavy two-speed axles. The costs of the products were reduced in 17% and the importation of parts and sets eliminated.
